Case: Pre-emptive evidence preservation and analysis

    Location – Bangkok and EMEA

Brief: A locally-based company facing potential litigation from the US needed to pro-actively preserve electronic evidence on computers and servers relating to a potential litigation hold.

Outcome: Working with the client’s legal team, RP-DS identified several computers and servers which contained information relevant to a potential litigation hold. Several computers were forensically imaged on-site to preserve evidence. Using “live forensic imaging” two Unix servers were imaged on-site, causing no interruption to business. Emails were examined and relevant email evidence was extracted and preserved on behalf of the company. Based on our initial work, further evidence preservation was conducted by RP-DS in Europe and Africa.
